The contact form

When you send a project brief, what you enter (your name, email, business, phone if you give it, your answers and your message) is sent to me by email through Resend, an email delivery service. It ends up in my inbox and is used to reply to you about your project.

While you fill the form in, your answers are kept in your browser’s session storage so a refresh doesn’t lose them. They are cleared when the brief is sent, or when you close the tab. If you send the form without JavaScript and something needs fixing, your answers are held in a cookie for up to two minutes so the form can show them again.

To stop spam, the internet address your request comes from is checked against recent submissions. It is kept only in the server’s working memory, never written to storage, and isn’t included in the email.

Analytics and performance

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies. It records things like which pages are visited, the referring site, the country, the kind of device and browser, and how quickly pages load. It doesn’t record anything you type.

Arranging a call

Calls are arranged by email, so what you send is handled the same way as any other email to me.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, whose servers handle every request, as any web host’s do.
